Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.

I serve members in…

the middle Tennessee area. Also, Mississippi and Kentucky.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance and annuities.

I enjoy working with…

Individuals, families, those approaching retirement and small-business owners.

I attended…

Welch College and Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I believe in the organization -- not only for how it supports members to help them reach their financial goals, but also for the way it supports my community and allows me to give back.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

through Modern Woodmen's fraternal benefits, I was able to match funds to help the family of a little 4-year-old girl who had been severely injured by a riding lawn mower. She had multiple surgeries, and through Modern Woodmen, we were able to help with those expenses.

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my son, Randall Jones, a Dell employee, who gave me my grandson, Dylan; and my daughter, Charae, a homemaker, who gave me my sweet granddaughter, Kierstyn (who is now living in heaven with Jesus). Charae is married to Harvey Smith.

My greatest blessing is…

my family and my health.

My personal motto is…

Treat others how you would like to be treated.

Members, there's still time for you and your family and friends to join us on our West Coast cruise! Cabins are almost full. Don't miss out on this exciting adventure in Cabo! https://na.eventscloud.com/CaboCruise/

This holiday season, reimagine what giving back can look like. Here are a few ways to make heartfelt community gestures. 1. Partner with a local animal shelter to host a “pet pantry” of donated pet food, treats and toys. 2. Organize a holiday story hour at a local library or school and read seasonal books aloud. 3. Set up a tree at a local business where community members can hang donated hats, gloves and scarves for those in need. 4. Provide moments of joy on everyday routes by leaving holiday cards or small treats for postal workers or delivery drivers. Modern Woodmen members, apply for a $200 Do-Good Grant®️ to try one of these ideas! https://www.modernwoodmen.org/do-good-grant/
