Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I’m passionate about helping my members determine their financial goals. We work together to create a plan based on their unique needs.

I serve members in…

all of Wisconsin, but I am located in Dodge County.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

anyone who wants to build a secure, financial future, including families, preretirees and retirees!

I attended…

Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

I am very proud of…

becoming a leader in the community and building a successful business.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

worked in the property and casualty world and was a teacher.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I truly enjoy helping people. Also, Modern Woodmen's fraternal mission and benefits are exceptional. This organization treats staff and representatives with the utmost respect, and we have a top-notch benefit and compensation plan.

The best part of my career is…

not feeling like I really go to work. I get to go talk to people every day and help them through their goals. I wake up every morning excited to start each day.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

client relationships became true friendships.

“My personal motto is LAUGH and LAUGH A LOT!”

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my husband, Jeff; son, Kole; and five four-legged critters.

In my free time, you can find me…

working out, camping, enjoying the sunshine or shopping.

I’m passionate about…

making sure I can do something nice for someone every day.

My greatest blessing is…

family, health, colleagues and close friends.

My personal motto is…

LAUGH and LAUGH A LOT!

My hidden talent is…

I am a great bowler, with about a 187 average right now.

Community impact

In the community

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

for about 10 years, but I currently live about a half hour away.

What I like best about my community is…

that it is small. Everyone knows everyone and takes care of each other.

I’m a member of…

NAIFA, NAFIC, Relay for Life of Fond du Lac, Main St. Mayville and Mayville Area Chamber of Commerce.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

when I can surprise someone with good news or resources!

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Fund projects to raise money for those in need.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

having an older couple come to a "Bowling with Santa" event and sitting on his lap!

Also…

I am passionate about what I do and enjoy every minute of it!

Did you know Modern Woodmen members had their own version of Memorial Day? In the late 1800s, Modern Woodmen camps (now chapters) set aside a special day – typically the first Sunday in June – to honor members who had passed away. This tradition is believed to have begun in 1890 in Dubuque, Iowa, before spreading to camps across the country. Many chapters continue this tradition today. These remembrance days were intentionally held on a different date so members could also fully observe the national Memorial Day – a time dedicated to honoring and remembering the servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Trees are a lot like retirement accounts. After the initial planting, they need love and attention. After planting a seed for retirement, it's vital to keep watering it. Let's meet to see if your retirement is growing as expected.
