Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.

I serve members in…

Georgia: Warner Robins, Houston County; Macon, Bibb County; Oglethorpe, Marshallville, Montezuma and Ideal, Macon County; Americus, Sumter County; Cordele, Crisp County; Taylor County; and Albany, Dougherty County.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance and annuities.

I enjoy working with…

families, seniors, small businesses and government agencies.

I attended…

American Military University. I hold an MBA in global management, and a BA in business administration (human resources).

I am very proud of…

receiving my FIC Award in 2012.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

owned and operated two large childcare businesses, and taught preschool and GED classes.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I believe in the organization -- not only for how it supports members to help them reach their financial goals, but also for the way it supports my community and allows me to give back.

The best part of my career is…

Helping my members. Whether it's planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, I feel good knowing I helped make a positive impact on their lives.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I first understood how important the plans I help with are. When I delivered my first death claim to a mother for a 24 year old, it was very hard for her, but she thanked me for being their to go through the very challenging time with her.

Also…

I enjoy my career with Modern Woodmen, touching lives and building futures for people in my community. It is a great company to work with.

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my husband, Senior Master Sergeant John Rosati, who served 33 1/2 years. He retired in 2014 and now runs a very successful lawn care business. Also my dogs, Bear (18 years) and Miricle.

In my free time, you can find me…

cheering for the Lakers, Dodgers and Raiders, or watching movies with my husband, traveling, cooking, or volunteering in my community.

I’m passionate about…

working in my community and making a difference people's lives, watching my favorite sports teams with friends and family (the Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers and the Las Vegas Raiders).

My greatest blessing is…

being a child of God and having a supportive husband. In addition, having a new Modern Woodmen district that supports me in the field.

My personal motto is…

Be kind to others and everything else will fall into place. Be true to the Golden Rule.

My hidden talent is…

I mentor adults in getting their GED and proceed to higher education or the workforce. I also assist with an emergency food bank for people in need.

Also…

The Lord has blessed me with the gift of mentoring our current youth to be steadfast on a path to success. I also love working with my dogs, keeping them healthy and safe. Moreover, I love being a good wife to my husband.

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

of Warner Robins community for 15 years. I really love the growth of this area and enjoy helping the people who live here.

What I like best about my community is…

that it's a great military town and very diverse. No one is a stranger. People genuinely care for one another an give back to make this community great.

I’m a member of…

Sojourn Church in Perry, Georgia, and I volunteer for many community organizations: Educare Center, Inc.; Literacy Council of Macon County, Inc.; NAACP, Macon County Chapter; Houston County CASA; and Macon County Schools.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

working in the community with children for the summer youth programs and after-school programs. I think it is important to give back by working with our leaders of the future.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

helping provide positive experiences for kids with Modern Woodmen’s local youth service clubs.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

when we did a Matching Fund for the Literacy Council of Macon County, Inc. We held a Trivia Bee to raise funds for nontraditional students to get their GED.

Also…

I assist with running and raising a local emergency food bank for several counties in middle Georgia. I am on the board of the Houston County CASA, which advocates for children in foster care.
