Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance and annuities.
I enjoy working with…
young families with small children and helping those who are approaching retirement.
I attended…
Timbo High School. I'm also a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, where I received a master's degree in education.
I am very proud of…
earning Modern Woodmen's President's Club status and qualifying for the Million Dollar Round Table.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
taught elementary school for 27 years.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
I had been member and knew how Modern Woodmen supported its members. I loved how Modern Woodmen worked to give back in the community. I love that I get to make an impact each and every day in my community.
The best part of my career is…
helping students who I taught years ago to now plan for their future though life insurance and investments.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I realized that because I had asked, a family did not have to worry about expenses for their son’s funeral. My first death claim was for a 12-year-old boy who died suddenly from a heart attack. While I was visiting with his father 10 months earlier, I asked about coverage for his wife and children, and we wrote them certificates (policies). When I delivered the check for the son’s claim, that father told me he felt like God must have sent me that day 10 months earlier.
