About me

Who I am at and outside of work

My family includes…

my wife, Leigha; son, Raiden; and our dogs, Daphne and Dahlia.

I'm a member of…

the Upstate Christian Chamber of Commerce, the Air Force Sarg Association, and Living Vine Community Church.

I'm passionate about…

my son, my church, and rugby.

In my free time you'll probably find me…

coaching high school rugby across the state of South Carolina or at the gym preparing for a fitness competition.

My greatest blessing is…

my wife, Leigha, being introduced to me at 18 years old and being together ever since.

Also…

my wife and I love to work on our property where we have chickens, guineas and turkeys!

Community impact

How we make a difference

We feel it’s important to support the communities we serve because…

we want to give back to the places we call home and the people who live there. There are many foundations and causes, but we sometimes don't see the impact at the local level. We feel it's important to improve our communities and focus on making a local impact.

We feel strongly about supporting our communities at a local level. One way we're able to make a positive impact is through Modern Woodmen activities and programs. We especially enjoy:

enjoying social and educational opportunities with my local Modern Woodmen chapters.

Our philosophy on volunteering is…

it’s more fulfilling to give than to receive. We get so much more than we give when we help our communities and families.

We’re most proud of…

the chapters upstate who give back thousands of dollars every year to the communities where we’re located. We’re also proud of the impact we can provide for families and the community believing in us.

*Client Spotlight Time* Lyndsey Densmore is the co-owner of BMD Seamless Gutter, a family-owned and operated business serving both the Upstate and Lowcountry. What inspired Lyndsey and her husband Brent to start the company was a desire to help homeowners with their gutter needs while providing quality work at an affordable price. More importantly, they wanted to build something meaningful for their family—something their children could one day be proud of and possibly even be a part of. When Lyndsey isn’t working behind the scenes helping run the business, you’ll likely find her enjoying something simple like a cold glass of lemonade during the spring months. While she’s typically a water drinker, lemonade is her seasonal go-to treat when the weather starts warming up. Working with TJ at Modern Woodmen has been a great experience for Lyndsey and her family. She describes TJ as thorough, helpful, and someone who truly goes above and beyond for his clients. Having someone trustworthy and dedicated in their corner has made a big difference. When it comes to supporting local businesses in Greenville, Lyndsey has a couple of favorites. Mak & Cheesecakes is her top choice when she’s craving dessert, known for what she says is the best cheesecake around. For family meals, Mama Mozzarella in Gather Greenville is always a go-to spot. Looking ahead to 2026, Lyndsey is excited about continuing to grow BMD Seamless Gutter and hopefully adding more employees to the team. On the personal side, it’s a big year for the family as their oldest child turns 13. A special goal for the year is taking him to Universal Studios to celebrate the milestone.

*Client Spotlight Time* Meet the Badgers! Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to do the work you do today? I am a father of four boys and husband to a beautiful wife. I work in the IT field as an IT Installation Technician. Installing and maintaining cameras and communication networks and services. I've always been interested in computers, and how they communicate with different technologies. What is your go-to drink and treat for the spring? My go to drink would be ginger ale and my favorite treat for the springtime is a cookies and cream milkshake, especially from Chick Fila. How has your experience been working with TJ at Modern Woodmen? My experience with TJ has been so amazing, he is available and happy to help when we have questions or need to update any information. What’s one local business/place you love to support? I love going to our local pizza shop right in our town called Pizza Hotline. It only has two locations and is amazing and fresh every time we order. What’s a goal you’re excited about for in 2026? My goal for 2026 is to further myself in my career by getting more certifications in IT support and cyber security, as well as make some great memories with my family and friends.

Quick heads up! You may receive an automated text from me asking you to confirm that it's okay for me to message you from my work number. Once you confirm, I'll be able to text you directly with updates, reminders, or anything you might need. Thanks for helping me stay connected!
