A force for good in action! Lily Pad is a Christian nonprofit ministry dedicated to creating trauma-informed, safe spaces for children experiencing foster care, victims of trauma, and families navigating crisis. Their work helps transform spaces into environments where vulnerable children and families can feel safe, supported, and cared for. Members from Chapters 12266 & 1725 recently helped with Lily Pad’s Loading Day for their new space at the Sumter DSS office! We wrapped furniture, carried it downstairs, and loaded it onto the trailer for their trip to Sumter the following day. We were also proud to purchase a sleeper sofa for the new room! Lily Pad’s impact continues to grow, with 47 offices served and 86 rooms created across South Carolina DSS offices, expanding into law enforcement spaces and even reaching Michigan! And they’re not slowing down—they’ll be coming to Charleston at the end of October! 🙌 Proud to support a mission bringing comfort and hope to those who need it most.
