At Modern Woodmen, giving back is at the heart of who we are. A heartfelt thank you to members Taylor Dale and TJ Clayton-Cornell for putting their Do-Good Grants into action at Pauline-Glenn Springs Elementary. Cooper also generously volunteered his time to help make the project a success, demonstrating the true spirit of service that defines our organization. Together, they provided valuable learning tools to help students thrive, including talking flash cards, phonics and math learning resources, and CD players to support classroom instruction. These hands-on educational tools will help equip students with the resources they need to learn, grow, and succeed. This is our fraternal mission in action: members making a meaningful difference in their communities. Meet Our Team: ALEX PRICE We love getting to know our team better, and today we’re introducing Alex! His responses are just one more reason we’re grateful to have him on our team. When it’s time to unwind, you can usually find Alex watching a good comedy, like The Office. A mantra or piece of advice he tries to live by: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:3-4.” Why it matters to him: My goal in life is to point others towards Christ. Whether it’s in my career, my friendships, or even when dealing with someone I don’t easily get along with, this verse shows what it means to truly serve others. Favorite place he has traveled to: Oahu, Hawaii Why it’s his favorite: It’s the most beautiful beach I’ve ever been to! Fun fact about Alex: I play the drums and guitar and can sing a little! We are so thankful for Alex’s unique personality, positive attitude, and the impact he makes on our team every day. Be sure to say hello and get to know him a little better next time you see him!

The Mays Region recently gathered in Columbia for a day of collaboration, learning, and team building. At Modern Woodmen, we know that investing in our people helps us better serve our members and communities. We shared updates, celebrated successes, exchanged ideas, and looked ahead to what’s next. We wrapped up the day with great food, friendly competition on the bowling lanes, and plenty of laughs. A few months ago, I was honored to be one of six representatives selected for a special project with Modern Woodmen of America. Seeing the final product was well worth the wait. This project reflects why I do what I do, to help establish Modern Woodmen as a force for good by serving families, strengthening communities, and living out the true meaning of fraternalism: seeing a need and meeting it. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my story and even more grateful to be part of an incredible company that’s making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
