Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I am so blessed to make a living by helping others and their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s rewarding to do what I do.

I serve members in…

East Tennessee, primarily Hawkins and Hancock counties.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

a wide variety of people. Whatever your situation, I can help you find a solution that suits your needs.

I attended…

Walters State Community College.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

spent 20 years as a paramedic. I've seen firsthand the impact a tragic loss can have on a family and the benefits of life insurance.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I can continue to serve my community. Modern Woodmen allows me to help people in a way I'd never considered.

The best part of my career is…

helping members protect their families. It is rewarding to help members come up with a plan and to understand the programs available to them and their families.

My life outside of work

In my free time, you can find me…

enjoying family time.

I’m passionate about…

helping people and giving back to those around me.

My greatest blessing is…

the opportunity to help members and my community.

My personal motto is…

treat others as you would want to be treated.

My hidden talent is…

I fix anything around the house with a little time and the Internet to guide me ... well, most of the time, anyway.

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

my entire life, between Hawkins and Hancock counties. I've lived in the Duck Creek area since 2005.

What I like best about my community is…

we're one big family. Everyone knows everyone, which is especially great when someone needs support.

I’m a member of…

War Creek Baptist Church, Rogersville/Hawkins County Chamber of Commerce, Sneedville Community Partners, and Rotary of Rogersville

My favorite volunteer activities are…

coaching.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Fund projects to raise money for those in need.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

watching members interact with each other at chapter events. I also love helping local nonprofits with fundraising projects.
