The event features a lively online and in-person auction, seasonal food and drinks, and meaningful opportunities for members to connect while supporting the Chamber’s ongoing work throughout the region. Modern Woodmen’s generosity doesn’t stop there, they also made a $2,500 matching contribution to the Chamber’s Feed The Need initiative, doubling the impact of every dollar raised and strengthening a movement that directly supports families across our region. Their commitment goes beyond event sponsorship, it reflects a true investment in the well being of the communities we all call home. Feed The Need was launched in the spring of 2016 through the Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce Charitable Trust to raise awareness around food insecurity and provide direct financial support to local food pantries. Funds are raised year round through grants, community donations, and events like the annual Polar Dip held in partnership with the Sebago Lake Rotary Club’s Fishing Derby. Every dollar collected goes directly to food pantries serving residents throughout the Sebago Lakes Region, helping ensure that neighbors facing difficult seasons have access to basic, essential resources.
