my family and friends. I also enjoy playing golf, gardening, quilting, and DIY projects with the community.

In my free time you'll probably find me…

volunteering as head track layer with the Lexington Kennel Club and tracking chair for American Kennel Club events. I also enjoy playing golf with my family.

How we make a difference

We feel it’s important to support the communities we serve because…

we want to give back to the places we call home and the people who live there. There are many foundations and causes, but we sometimes don't see the impact at the local level. We feel it's important to improve our communities and focus on making a local impact!

We feel strongly about supporting our communities at a local level. One way we're able to make a positive impact is through Modern Woodmen activities and programs. We especially enjoy:

service projects that involve community teamwork and involvement.

Our philosophy on volunteering is…

it's more fulfilling to give than to receive. We get so much more than we give when we help our communities and families.

We’re most proud of…

the impact we make each year at our local level. Last year, the chapters in our region put close to $50,000 back into our communities and donated more than 250 hours.

Paws 4 The Cause: Helping animals of all kinds

Two chapters in our region's chapters came together for a Matching Fund project. We donated $5,000 to an emergency medical fund with a local animal shelter. In total, they raised over $22,000. Because of our hard work, the shelter could make building modifications to bring in an in-house veterinarian (to keep future costs down) and create a community center.
