Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.
I serve members in…
the Plainwell area and throughout Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities, stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds and variable annuities.
I enjoy working with…
individuals, couples, families, retirees and those nearing retirement, self-employed people and a variety of business owners. Helping individuals and small groups meet their current and future financial and insurance needs is how I have built my practice the last few years.
I attended…
Otsego High School and went on to Aquinas College for a business administration degree. After college, I attended the Institute of Real Estate Management for my CPM designation, Kaplan University for my securities licensing, and The American College for my LUTCF designation. I am currently enrolled in the RICP designation program through The American College.
I am very proud of…
earning the Life Advisor of the Year award for 2008-2013, the Top Advisor of the Year award for 2013, the FICF designation in 2012 and the LUTCF designation in 2013. Also, being a member of the Century Club eight of the last nine years.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
worked in the real estate development and management industry for 25+ years throughout the state of Michigan. I managed and developed single family homes, multiple apartment complexes, government facilities, office buildings and medical complexes.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
of how we support our members to help them achieve their financial goals and dreams. I also chose Modern Woodmen because of our continued support of the communities and members through hands-on volunteer projects, social and educational projects. We're making a difference in the world around us.
The best part of my career is…
helping my members and the local communities. Whether it's planning for retirement, protecting their families with insurance, planting trees or flowers throughout the downtown or honoring one of our local heroes, I feel good knowing that we are making an impact in the lives of our members and the communities at large.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I understood how important the plans that I help with are for my members. When I showed one of my members that she was able to retire and live comfortably because of the plans we had made several years before. When I delivered a life insurance check to a family following a tragic motorcycle accident of their 18-year-old son. This truly makes a difference in the lives of our members.
