I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.

A favorite moment in my career was when…
I realized just how important life insurance is. I lost both of my parents two months apart, and they had no life insurance due to uninsurability. Another moment that stuck with me involved a young member who had term-to-age-21 life insurance. Before it expired, I tried to get him to convert it to whole life insurance ... but he didn't. He had a car wreck at age 22 and passed. That broke my heart, because he had no insurance.
