Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.
I serve members in…
Greenville, Anderson, Laurens and surrounding communities, including Piedmont, Pelzer, Belton/ Honea Path, Abbeville, Ware Shoals, Hickory Tavern, Gray Court, Clinton and Greenwood.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.
I enjoy working with…
young families just starting on their financial path. I also have a great interest in helping my peers have a secure position in retirement. My experience of 30 years in small business also gives me insight into the needs of business owners.
I attended…
Greenville Technical College and Clemson University.
I am very proud of…
earning Modern Woodmen's Sure Start Award, and I have since become licensed to offer securities products and gained recognition as Fraternal Insurance Counselor with NAFIC.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
owned and operated two franchises in upstate South Carolina, providing residential and commercial Chem-Dry services.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
I believe this organization, with its 135+ years of experience in guiding families to financial security, will allow me to build strength in my community's economy. The stability of our families and businesses is directly determined by them gaining financial knowledge from established organizations like Modern Woodmen.
The best part of my career is…
helping my members plan for their financial futures. Whether developing a clear plan for retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, I feel good knowing I have helped make a positive impact in their lives.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I helped a widower beneficiary follow the wishes of his deceased wife to provide an legacy for her two grandchildren.
Also…
The relationships I have, and continue to develop, in my field and market lead me to believe in how important my position is. The interaction with national organizations like NAIFA and NAFIC provide the knowledge and motivation to boldly address the needs of government representatives, recent high school graduates and everyone in between.
