One of the things I value most about Modern Woodmen is that our members aren’t just clients, they’re part of a fraternal organization that believes in strengthening communities and creating meaningful experiences together. That’s exactly what made our recent beach day possible. Earlier this summer, we kicked things off at Bolsa Chica State Beach with a day centered around service, community, and a little adventure. We started the morning with a beach cleanup, spent time connecting over s’mores and games. For many, the highlight of the day was stepping outside their comfort zone during their very first surf lesson with the incredible team at Salty Grom Surf Camp. It’s rewarding to help people plan for financial security, but it’s just as rewarding to see them leave our fraternal events with new friendships, shared memories, and experiences they may not have had otherwise. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a memorable day.
