The best part of my career is…

assuring my members that I'll be by their side through all of life's curveballs while witnessing people, young and old, achieve their retirement dreams. However, the most rewarding part of my career is watching my members accomplish goals they've been working on for decades and seeing the joy it brings to their families.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I promised one of my members I'd deliver a handwritten note to her grandson when he turns 21. Due to her age, she likely won't be around for his 21st birthday. God willing, I promised I'd hand-deliver the note and personally tell him "how much Nana loved him."

My family includes…

my beautiful wife, Kalor; brother, Jake; dad, Mark; mom, Lisa; grandparents, Linda and Louie Oliver; aunt and uncle, Karen and Bruce; and cousins, Brandon and Bailey.

In my free time, you can find me…

spending time with my wife and dogs, Lucy and Bella, or playing pickup sports with my friends. I love being surrounded by people, and I'm always looking to make new friends and do something adventurous.

I’m passionate about…

the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins and, of course, the Boston Red Sox.

My greatest blessing is…

my beautiful wife and our son. I'm also very blessed to start my career at a young age and with so many great mentors and teachers to guide me.

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

all of my life! I grew up in Raymond, Maine. I went to school at Windham High School and have always called Raymond my home.

What I like best about my community is…

that it's a tight-knit group of people. Everyone knows everyone, and they're very accepting of others. Being involved in the community is easy here and so many people are willing to give a helping hand.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

hands-on activities or anything where I get to engage with people. I love being surrounded by people. When I get to volunteer, I have the privilege of being around amazing community members.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Fund projects to raise money for those in need.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

when we raised over $125,000 at an event in our community called "Riding to the Top." The money went toward therapeutic horses that help kids with disabilities express themselves through riding. This is truly an amazing organization!

BIG NEWS MY PRACTICE IS GROWING! Over the past couple years Kevin Monroe and I have been working together to build a team. This past July I officially accepted a role in Monroe Financial as a Junior Partner along with the role internally in the office as General Manager Of Operations. Thus merging my practice with Monroe Financial. Monroe Financial is one of the top Modern Woodmen Of America's office's in the country posting in the top 5 offices in the country year after year. This means that I have another experienced representative on my team (28 years with Modern Woodmen) helping my clients while I also help his! This is very exciting and I look forward to the future we have together as partners. We are happy to service all of our clients with our now two offices. Our main office where we handle the day to day operations in Alfred and our second office in Windham, which has been and will continue to be my home! This is a picture of the cover of the Modern Woodmen Of America Trailblazer Magazine which is sent out all over the country. I am very blessed to have represented the New England Region on the cover of the magazine and share our story with the country.
